Amidst this sea of options, e-Factor® emerges as a beacon of innovation and differentiation, offering a unique approach that sets it apart from other major EI assessment tools available today.
The core strength of e-Factor lies in its objective assessment component, which utilizes cutting-edge technology to capture real-time data. By analyzing three different indicators and forming a solid pattern, e-Factor provides an unprecedented level of insight into an individual's emotional intelligence. These objective measurements provide an unbiased view of emotional responses, eliminating the potential biases and subjectivity inherent in self-reporting and observer feedback.
Developed with meticulous attention to detail, the e-Factor® benefits from the latest research and insights in the field, ensuring it reflects the most current understanding of emotional intelligence. By harnessing the power of cutting-edge methodology, the e-Factor® effectively measures emotional intelligence within the context of modern challenges and demands.
Many EI tests only use self-reflection to measure EI. In the realm of IQ tests, this would be similar to asking a person how good they are in math and taking their word for it, as opposed to providing a math problem that should be solved. The e-Factor® test does not just take your word for it! It is a reliable measure of your emotional skills, knowledge and understanding.
The e-Factor® outperforms other emotional intelligence tools with its comprehensive, three-pronged approach. It combines the KUSA score, 360-degree feedback, and self-judgment variance, providing a more balanced, accurate emotional intelligence measure.
Unlike other tools that heavily rely on self-reporting, e-Factor® considers objective indicators and external perspectives, reducing self-reporting bias. It also uniquely quantifies self-awareness, an overlooked but crucial aspect of emotional intelligence. The e-Factor® delivers a more thorough, insightful emotional intelligence evaluation, enhancing users' understanding of their strengths and development areas.
With an unrivalled validation process, the latest technology, and peer-reviewed methodology e-Factor is the gold standard in EQ measurement.

the Self-assessment is likely to take 10-15 Minutes.
the 360 reports will take your selected individuals 10-15 minutes each to complete
the KUSA test will take you around 40 minutes to complete.
We recommend that users complete their self-assessment first, then send their 360 reports to 3-5 people who know them well before immediately completing their KUSA assessment.
In this scenario, all your assessments will be completed within the hour, and all you need to do is await for your 360 selectees to complete their submissions before you receive your e-factor score.
The e-Factor test is not specifically designed for any particular group, like leaders, teams, or those focusing on well-being. Rather, it's a versatile tool applicable across various life contexts, both professional and personal. This broad-based design allows for a thorough evaluation of an individual's emotional intelligence across different life spheres.
It's crucial to mention that people with high emotional intelligence may not always emphasise aspects such as "well-being" or "pro-social" goals. For instance, athletes or individuals in competitive fields might value competitiveness and victory more. In light of this, we didn't create the tool with a specific professional group or set of values in mind, as that could introduce cultural bias.
In essence, the e-Factor test's objective is to offer a balanced, unbiased assessment of a person's emotional intelligence, much like how IQ tests operate. So, who is the e-Factor test designed for? It's designed for anyone looking to understand their emotional intelligence across various life scenarios and contexts.
We have developed the e-Factor® assessment tool based on research with adults, and it would be irresponsible to apply it to children and adolescents. Therefore, we cannot support the use of the e-Factor® assessment tool with children. However, we are working on a children’s model and assessment methodology in parallel, and our ultimate goal is to make Emotional Intelligence accessible to the 4-9-year-old demographic. We believe that the prevention of emotional skill problems in children is much more humane and simpler than relying on prisons and increased mental health care demand.
We recognise the importance of making our e-Factor® assessment tool accessible to people from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Therefore, we plan to translate our assessment tool into other languages after the two-year validation period. To ensure that the standard is maintained in territories where English isn’t the first language, we will partner with professionals who can provide high-quality translations. We believe that Emotional Intelligence is a fundamental human skill that everyone should have the opportunity to develop, and we will continue to work diligently to achieve this goal.
We are committed to developing and delivering a high-quality e-Factor® assessment tool that provides an accurate assessment of an individual’s Emotional Intelligence capabilities. Currently, the tool has not been fully validated across the global population. However, we are dedicating the two-year period to building a diverse dataset across multiple demographics to ensure there is no bias in the instrument. While we have taken significant steps to prevent bias during the development phase, we recognise the importance of objective validation to ensure that our assessment tool is fair and accurate for everyone. To facilitate this process, everyone who takes the test is asked to complete a demographics declaration, which will assist us in analysing the data and identifying any potential biases. Our commitment to accuracy and fairness underpins everything we do, and we will continue to work diligently to ensure that our e-Factor® assessment tool meets the highest standards of quality and excellence.
